The strong wind from east-southeast this morning has again directed the 12 riders of the « 2010 Reunion Wave Classic » to the spot of l’Etang Salé. The waves showed a good height of 2m in the biggest sets, the wind was perfectly oriented, side offshore, making the waves hollow, long and fast. The dream spot for any good waverider!
It was about 12:30pm when the riders and the organization staff launched the first heat. 30 minutes, the 2 best surfs are taken into account.
